Our Behavioral Modification Board & Train program is designed for dogs exhibiting unwanted behaviors that interfere with daily life, safety, or reliability. Unlike traditional obedience training, this program focuses on identifying the root cause of behavioral issues and implementing a structured rehabilitation plan tailored to the individual dog. Every dog is thoroughly evaluated upon arrival to determine the underlying factors contributing to the behavior. Training is then customized to address the dog's specific needs while building confidence, clarity, accountability, and appropriate coping strategies.
Common Issues Addressed Include:
Aggression, Reactivity toward people or dogs, Excessive barking, Poor impulse control, Anxiety-related behaviors, Resource guarding, Boundary issues, Leash reactivity, Lack of engagement with the handler, Environmental instability, and general obedience deficiencies contributing to behavioral problems
Throughout the program, dogs receive daily structured training, environmental exposure, confidence-building exercises, and clear leadership designed to create lasting behavioral change. Owners are kept informed of progress and receive education on maintaining consistency after the dog returns home.
Because behavioral cases vary significantly in severity and complexity, program length is determined following an initial evaluation.
